Four 18th-century blown glass carafes - Dutch 10¾"

SKU: 16684

US$1,227
A delightful set of four blown-glass carafes from the eighteenth century. They are Dutch - some enchantingly so with delicately crafted images of windmills, and others with bunches of grapes.

Note the vertical ribbons of glass beading that decorate the sides of the carafes. Imagine the stories these vessels hold and the guests they may have charmed during parties over the centuries.

NB: Please note that some of the vertical decor is missing, leaving some sharp edges. Use the handles when lifting.

Heavy wear and rustic condition consistent with age and use.
All approx. overall 10¾" high x 6¾" diameter
