Large antique French tian bowl with brown glaze 15¼"

This superb, rustic, and well-used terracotta 'tian' bowl dates from the nineteenth-century and is from Provence. Originally used in several ways - washing vegetables, cooking in the oven, etc. A lovely bowl to display in the kitchen with a collection of pottery or on a coffee table with dried flowers, for example.
