This extraordinary mirror with a matching floating console dates from the 1970s / 80s. The frame and table base are made from different metals (bronze/iron/aluminium/brass) and there are three cornucopias overflowing with wheat sheaves and flowers. The snake-like parts are evocative of an elephant's or bull's head. The mirror is original and the glass top has been replaced. Evocative of Robert Goossens' table designs for Chanel.

Light wear.
